  • Death*: F. Edward Reinecke died on 5 March 1915 at 425 Park Street (Mrs. Marion Dick), York, York, PA, US, at age 76 due to a "complication of diseases". His obituary in the York Gazette on 6 Mar 1915 reads: "F. Edward Reinecke, 77 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marion Dick, 425 Park Street yesterday afternoon at 3:10 o'clock. Death was due to a complication of diseases. Mr. Reinecke was the son of the late Rev. John Reinecke, who was the first Reformed preacher in York county and is the last of a large family whose origin dates back to the early period of York. He was also the only living charter member of the Carpenter's union. (Lists children: Marion Dick, York; Mrs. Clay E. Lewis, W.York; Mrs. James Reinecke, Orange NJ; Mrs. John Strine, Balto, MD) Rev. Samuel H. Stein pastor of Trinity First Reformed Church to conduct services at home of Mrs. Dick. Interrment will be made in Prospect Hill.17,5 "
