  • Death*: He died on 7 February 1894 at York, York, PA, US, at age 55 due to insanity after illness of 2 years at age 55. He had been a carpenter. The date of his death is recorded as the Feb. 7 in York County Death records but the tombstone is engraved with Feb. 6. Not sure which is correct.8,9
  • Burial*: He was buried on 10 February 1894 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sec. R, lot 47, York, York, PA, US; His beautiful double tombstone reads: "Adam Yessler Died Feb 6, 1894, Aged 55 yrs, 6 mos, 9 d's". He is buried with wife Mary C. and granddaughter Grace M. Kenneth P. Yessler, listed as son on cemetery record, gave endowment of $80 on 29 July 1986 for care of lot. First endowment for lot given on 19 Jul 1916 by an unknown person.
