His last passport was obtained from the American Consul at Colon, Panama in May 1919. He intended to go to Columbia, South America for about 2 years to seek employment and travel. He was leaving NY on board the S.S.Sixaloa on July 26, 1922.

  Andrew M. Gibson, a clerk living at 619 Melville Ave. Baltimore, MD testified to his identity.
  A letter from J.R.Clarke of International Petroleum Company, LTD, agents for Tropical Oil Company, states that Mr. A.M.Gibson has been engaged by them for service as a pipe fitter and mechanic in Columbia.²⁶
